Welcome to Bennington WeldCraft.

My name is Bill Bennington and I have lived in North East Ohio my entire life. I am a master welder and metal fabricator with over thirty years of experience in the trade. I started welding & fabricating around age eleven for my father, Robert Bennington, for our family business, B & J Displays on Mayfield Road in Chardon, Ohio. Since then I have worked in all kinds of trades including wood working, operating heavy equipment, and even landscaping. In recent years I have worked as a pipe fitter and welder and I have over ten years of experience working in a sand mine.

I enjoy being creative and have a passion for working with both metal and wood and repurposing items that seem to no longer have any value. That is why I decided to open my own business, Bennington WeldCraft. This gives me an opportunity to use the skills and knowledge I’ve gained over the years and share it with others in the community. I specialize in custom metal business signs, metal railings, custom metal fabrication of all kinds, and have the ability to design and create custom metal parts of various kinds.

As of right now, I can do welding and fabricating jobs in my job and on site when needed. I have over 30 welding certifications stick, tig, and mig, in 6G pipe weld and over 30 years of experience in the field. Metals I can weld on include and are not limited to, carbon steel, stainless steel, inconel, monel, nickel, hastelloy, cast iron, and avesta alloy. I love to be challenged creatively and look forward to doing custom metal and woodworking projects.

A new service now offered in my shop is Custom Cutting for industrial parts, business and personal signs, and various metal projects. I have a large, heavy duty CNC Plasma Table ready to be put to use. Call or email me for details.
